Recently, the 2025 Chongqing Special Fund Project for Intellectual Property Risk Prediction and Early Warning undertaken by the Company — the Automatic Lensmeter Patent Risk Prediction and Early Warning Project — has completed all research tasks, and a final acceptance application is to be submitted to the Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Administration. This project systematically sorted out the patent layout and competitive landscape of the automatic lensmeter sector worldwide and domestically, providing robust intellectual property risk early warning and response support for the export of the Company’s core products and domestic market expansion.
Against the backdrop of the intelligent and high-precision development of global optometry testing equipment, automatic lensmeters serve as core instruments for ophthalmic optical inspection, featuring high technical barriers and fierce international competition. As a leading domestic enterprise in the automatic lensmeter industry, Chongqing Yuanshi Technology Co., Ltd. has proactively responded to the deployment of the Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Administration on strengthening overseas intellectual property risk prevention and control. Focusing on the patent barriers of international industry giants such as Nidek and Topcon from Japan, the Company conducted in-depth intellectual property analysis and early warning research.
The project delivered a comprehensive analysis of global and Chinese patent trends, an in-depth interpretation of patents held by major competitors including Nidek, Topcon and 6 OVER 6 VISION LTD., as well as infringement risk assessments of core products in the U.S., European and Japanese markets. Highly relevant patents were screened and compared one by one, verifying that the current products carry low and overall controllable infringement risks. Meanwhile, targeted intellectual property risk prevention and control recommendations were proposed from government, industry and enterprise dimensions, and a customized overseas patent layout strategy featuring short-term risk prevention, medium-term layout optimization and long-term technological leadership was formulated for the Company.
During project implementation, the Company organized special training sessions for R&D and marketing teams, and promoted project outcomes internally, which effectively enhanced company-wide awareness of intellectual property risk prevention and control, as well as capabilities in patent analysis and application. Relevant research findings have been applied to the Company’s R&D decision-making and internal system improvement, while also offering a reference for government authorities to formulate industrial policies and drive sound industrial development.
Moving forward, Chongqing Yuanshi Technology Co., Ltd. will continue to uphold the philosophy of technology leadership and intellectual property-driven development. The Company will further advance independent R&D of core technologies and global patent deployment, accelerate PCT international patent filings, establish a regular competitor monitoring mechanism, and pursue integrated innovation.
